Overview
Lecturer in Engineering 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £28,973 - £34,606 per annum We require a full time Lecturer within our successful Engineering department. Our engineering curriculum is predominantly mechanical engineering, supporting students across a range of engineering disciplines including Engineering Maths, Science & Mechanical Principles at Level 3 and above, CAD and CNC. Delivery is split between classroom and industry standard engineering workshops. The successful candidate will be required to plan, deliver and manage full time programmes of study, predominantly for full 16-19 students. Working as part of a successful Engineering curriculum team you will plan, teach and assess Engineering students using your Engineering and vocational experience. You will be contributing your skills to an Engineering team with diverse skills and specialisms. Applicants should be a qualified teacher (or have the commitment to obtaining the appropriate qualification, have vocational/Industrial experience relevant to current Engineering curriculums and of delivering a broad range of engineering subjects at level 2 and above.
