Overview
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on the waste treatment plant and ancillary equipment; • Reviewing and, where needed, developing maintenance plans to increase plant availability times; • Assisting the facility management to ensure that maintenance plans are followed; • Conducting plant inspections and discussing operational issues with the operatives; • Identifying faults by observing the plant, listening for irregular noises and monitoring the controls for abnormal readings. Qualities good mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and comprehensive knowledge of the health and safety requirements associated with maintenance activities. You’ll have knowledge of steam plant and ancillary equipment, and basic welding.
