Java Developer - The Role: As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for building enterprise level solutions, for companies such as Virgin, Universal, Allianz and SAP. You will work on an up-to-date technology stack, in an agile environment and have complete ownership over front end as well as back end development of our solution. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Partner with the product management team to define, design and implement new functionalities Own the development process, taking ideas from concept to implementation using mock-ups and customer feedback as appropriate Support and improve existing functionality, provide technical mentorship to your colleagues, and analyse and resolve intricate technical challenges Java Developer - Required Skills / Experience: Strong Java development and database skills. Experience implementing J2EE web applications using JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in Java/J2EE API's: JDBC, JMX, JAXP and generic XML API's You must have good command of the English language and excellent shell scripting knowledge, (ideally cross-platform).
