1st Line Support

1st Line Support - Tewkesbury - ASAP start - 1 month initially Your new company My exclusive client are looking to bring in a Service Desk Analyst for initially 1 month to help with an increased demand in workload. Your new role As the 1st Line Support, you will be supporting 500 end users and a team of 2 other staff. You will be the first point of contact for and report into the Head of IT. Provide primary point of contact between users and the ICT Services team Carry out first line support and maintenance tasks in the following areas of technology: Desktop PCs, thin client devices and laptops / Mobile phones, Tablets / Operating systems, software and applications / Any other ICT technology used by staff at the council Ensure all incidents raised are correctly logged and managed through to conclusion using the council's online helpdesk software Escalate unresolved incidents to relevant ICT support teams or external suppliers when necessary Contribute effectively to the establishment and maintenance of the departmental knowledge base ensuring that information is captured that will assist in improving responses and fix times To undertake occasional work outside office hours to assist critical ICT tasks What you'll need to succeed Experience of providing ICT support in a busy corporate environment Experience using ICT support desk software Experience of supporting and resolving queries about MS Office or Office 365, Windows 10 A basic technical knowledge of using Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 including Active Directory What you'll get in return Weekly pay Up to £12.50 per hour depending on experience Initially 1 month contract - most likely extended 1 point of contact What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
