This is an opportunity with a difference…… Assigned as a 6 month contract, you’ll need to be a quick learner to work for this this highly reputable Investments employer. They are offering a new role within Technical Operations. You’ll be tasked with the year end 'tax packs’ auditing which all clients are to receive during the summer months. This is an urgent position as we have had someone withdraw from a role. Responsibilities:- To complete the audit of Dividend income categories across company services To complete full year and ad-hoc client checks To complete numerical checks To enhance the process and controls after tax pack delivery Previous experience within the Investments industry is essential and you should be competent carrying out research security types distribution and have a sound understanding of Markets, Dividends and other forms of taxable/non-taxable income. Some experience with income tax across numerous jurisdictions and HMRC guidelines, would also be favoured. You’ll need to demonstrate your efficiency and ability to quickly learn. Meticulous attention to detail and highly literature computing, especially, excel and data analytics are a MUST. If you have experience in implementing process improvements and controls that will also be of benefit. Despite some training being offered, this is a role for a candidate with the right experience/knowledge and is crucial to the success of this interim role
