Overview
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, management information or key performance information, explaining any variances which may arise. Adhoc finance tasks. Description Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, management information or key performance information, explaining any variances which may arise. Meetings with budget holders on a monthly basis to discuss their financial position and provision of any ad hoc financial information as required. Maintain and prepare monthly accrual and prepayment schedules and prepare journals for posting in the financial ledger. Preparation of reconciliations, either monthly or quarterly, including inter company. Support in the preparation of the annual budget in accordance with agreed timescales. Support the preparation of the statutory accounts in accordance with agreed timescales including providing information to auditors as required. Responsible for the preparation of employee costs as part of the annual budget process and monthly reporting throughout the financial year. Updating of the fixed asset register for any in year transactions. Providing support to the business with any information to support projects as required. Profile All of the below are required to be successful in application. A strong record of demonstrable achievement in service delivery of finance and accountancy services Experience of working in partnership with internal (and external) stakeholders to deliver excellence Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team Demonstrable computer literacy with strong excel skills Experience of using accounting software packages AAT (Accounting Technicians) qualification or equivalent through relevant training / experience Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Evidence of continuing professional development Job Offer Salary up to £30K Benefits
