Due to internal progression, this role is now available on a permanent basis. Client Details Page Personnel are currently recruiting a new, permanent Assistant Accountant position for a nationwide manufacturing and production business based in Barnsley. Due to internal progression, this role is now available on a permanent basis. Description The successful Assistant Accountant will report directly into the Financial Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily bank reconciliation, preparation of cash flow actuals, assisting with statutory accounts preparation, accruals, prepayments and journals and any other duties in line with assisting the Management Accountants/UK Chief Accountant as and when required. Profile The Successful candidate will be: - Experienced in month end processes. - AAT Qualified and/or actively studying ACCA/CIMA. - Able to communicate both written and verbally to a high standard. - Experienced on MS Excel. - Ambitious, enthusiastic, with a desire to progress in their field.
