Backend Web Developer

M4 Recruitment are working in partnership with a renowned company within the Wiltshire area. We are currently looking to appoint a Backend Web Developer for our growing client. JOB DESCRIPTION Starting salary -£42,000 - £47,000 per annum DOE Benefits - Company Bonus Pension contributions Medical Benefit Overall Objective Support of backend environment with specific knowledge and experience of AWS. AWS support Engineer support all the activities related to AWS cloud, starting from VM Creation, adding storage, adding network, troubleshooting technical issues, one should have good LINUX OS concepts, strong Network and learning attitude. To manage our web development across 5 countries in line with business strategy and requirements. The Role Website development and Project Management Support all activities relating to AWS Experience of VM creation, adding storage and CPU capacity Experience of AWS trouble shooting technical issues Good understanding of LINUX OS Concepts Strong Network experience Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Oversee management and optimisation of digital infrastructure including servers and continued site optimisation (speed, SEO) for best global website performance. Management of third-party suppliers for both server hosting and outsourced development. Assist in the development and enhancement of new and existing websites with a particular focus on complex data management and visualisations, linking backend database systems with interactive frontend user experiences for a range of audiences Ensure data moves neatly between multiple systems using custom APIs. Skills & Experience Required Excellent knowledge of; AWS , VM, LINUX OS, E Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Skill for writing reusable libraries Familiar with various design and architectural patterns The ability for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Project Management Demonstrable experience developing data dashboards linking multiple data sources to create user friendly live reporting Version control experience & exposure to 3rd party API integrations Demonstrable experience conducting user interface and experience research to understand potential audiences driving statistics and with a proven ability to present results clearly and succinctly to inform product development and future campaigns Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills with ability to relate to and work effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, at all levels Flexible, adaptable approach to changing priorities M4 Recruitment is an employment business and operates as an equal opportunities employer.
