HR Project Lead - UK & Europe

HR Project Lead - UK & Europe 12 months Fixed Term Contract initially Based Surrey. £60 - 70k plus £4,800 allowance Our client, a global organisation based in Surrey are seeking an HR Project professional on a Fixed Term basis to drive and manage a global finance transformation, in close partnership with respective Project Leads/Project Teams and Global HR Business Partner. Key duties include: Collaborate in close partnership with local country HRDs/HR Leads and teams, for fact/data gathering, planning, preparing, communicating, implementing and closing/finalising activity that relates to re-organisation, consultation processes at country and Europe-level (works council), recruiting efforts or redundancies/outsourcing efforts, in line with project objectives Work to ensure HRDs are accountable for execution of agreed plans in their markets. Also will monitor progress and escalate risks in markets to Finance for the Future project leadership. Communicate with HR teams, and be their champion as a member of the project teams to ensure best outcomes in line with project objectives Co-ordination and input into managing the people-impact across the programme Identification and guidance on adherence to European employment laws Influence project plans to achieve best outcome for our staff and our company, given employee and staffing scenarios in the affected/impacted countries Successful applicants will have: Change and project management experience from large-scale HR and transformational change initiatives. Must have recent prior European works council consultation process experience covering at least several of the key countries (UK, Germany, Spain, France) HR management experience, working directly in support of a multinational / international organisation supporting change, upscaling, downscaling and engaging a workforce spanning multiple European countries This exciting and highly visible transformation project offers a strong career challenge and a real opportunity to make a global impact on a well-known brand.
