AL146: Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be working 12-hour Continental Shifts. Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Stripping/Repairing Pumps and Gearboxes. Fault finding automated transport systems. Fault finding electro-pneumatic systems. Robot program adjustments. PLC modifications. Minor electrical installations. Site maintenance. Fabrication/Welding. Fault finding proportional hydraulic systems. Fault finding 3 phase motor control circuits. Skills and Qualifications: Trained & certificated in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, but with experience of both disciplines. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an automated production environment. Good working knowledge of fluid power systems. Experience of working with robotic systems. Experience of working shifts. Experience of PPM scheduling. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong organisation skills. Able to work on own initiative. Good team skills.
