Overview

I am currently working with an amazing Digital Company who are looking at expanding their already well established team at their offices based in Manchester City Centre. They are looking for a number of Software Engineers for their team in Manchester and you will be responsible for not only some very cool current projects but you will also be expected to explore other digital services. As a software engineer you’ll work in a multi-disciplinary agile product team to deliver simple applications with the needs of clients and colleagues at their heart. You will also be part of a community of practice that includes developers from all of the development teams. The community meets regularly to share knowledge and learn from each others’ experiences. They build web applications in Python, but are flexible when it comes to your background, it is more important that you are passionate about fulfilling user needs, collaborating with others and building great quality software. You will be expected to learn and use a full-stack approach to software development and use modern engineering practices like TDD, pair programming and continuous deployment whilst working within agile teams to create quick feedback loops and focus on the customer To apply I am looking for experienced Software Engineers who are skilled in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, Ruby, JavaScript), you will have a flexible attitude to tech and a solid understanding of how the web works.
