Overview
IT Support / Service Desk / 1st Line Support Your new company As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will be joining the merging team of the Surrey and Sussex Police Forces, providing 24/7 support to the Head Office in Lewes. The IT department are a vital part of the operations of the Police Forces and are undergoing a period of investment to improve their service. Your new role This position will be providing high-standard 1st line support, managing tickets and undertaking administrative tasks. You will also allocate work on to the 2nd and 3rd line teams when applicable. You will initially work normal office hours, Monday - Friday, during training, after which shifts will form part of a 7-week rotating pattern, including weekend and night shifts. What you'll need to succeed Applicants are required to have previous experience working in a Service Desk environment with a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service. You will need understand the severity of a range of technical issues and know when to pass on to various escalation points. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive salary and, after passing training, you will also receive bonus rates of 22.35% of basic pay, when working unsociable hours and 5% of basic pay when on call. You will also be automatically enrolled into the pension scheme and will receive up to 32 days holiday per annum.
