FIRMWARE MANAGER - Embedded - Software/ Hardware/ Electronics - Are you a Firmware Engineer - Firmware Manager based in the Manchester area? If so, then my rapidly expanding organisation are looking for a superb Firmware Manager - Firmware Engineer (4 Days onsite - 1 Day from Home). You will create and own a governance structure that ensures all releases are in line with customer expectations. If you want to work in a team full of specialist engineers working on IoT products for application within the Gas, Electricity / Smart Metering arena then this could be the role for you Key Skills and Experiences Developing embedded firmware Firmware design and methodologies Firmware configuration management Moderate level of electronics knowledge Ability to work on several projects simultaneously Design, develop and document firmware and drivers to control devices Design, develop and document test procedures and software to validate the functionality Software unit test, and supporting integration and systems testing Provide estimates of effort, schedule, and size of the change Regular progress reporting on schedule, quality & size of the change Support for existing devices through problem investigation, identification and resolution Willing to travel, e.g. customer sites for support or analysis Degree qualified in Software or Electronic Engineering For this Manchester-based Firmware Engineer - Firmware Manager - Software/Hardware - Embedded opportunity we're considering all potential candidates with immediate effect so please APPLY NOW for a quick response Benefits include company matched pension, life assurance, a cycle2work scheme, 15 weeks fully paid maternity, adoption and shared parental leave and plenty more.
