Accountancy Practice - Birkenhead - Tax Assistant/ Semi Senior Your new firm You will be joining an established general practice based in Birkenhead town centre. This firm offer their varied client base a broad range of services from Bookkeeping and Payroll to Accounts and Tax. Following a period of sustained growth, they are now looking to appoint a Tax Assistant to join their busy team. Your new role As a Tax Assistant, you will be required to work with sole traders, limited companies and partnerships focusing predominantly on personal tax. Your role will see you manage your own portfolio of clients undertaking the compliance and preparation of the returns. You may also get involved with trust work as the role develops. What you'll need to succeed In order t undertake this role you must have had experience working within a practice previously. You will be up to date on the latest legislation in regards to tax in the UK and should be able to prepare self assessments with limited supervision. Knowledge of sage would be an advantage however isn't compulsory. Ideally you will be studying or have completed your AAT/ ATT. What you'll get in return In return this firm are able to offer a competitive package and benefits package which includes 20 days holiday bank holidays and a pension. The firm work 09:00 - 17:30 with an hour for lunch and you will also have study support should this be necessary.
