If so, we have the role for you Since starting in San Francisco in 2012, this team have grown their Platform to include 30 different services which can be composed together to deliver over 300 different product combinations to their clients in the investment industry. This flexible customer first approach has proved highly successful and they now boast well over 100,000 users and £1 trillion under management. To support further development of this Big Data AWS Cloud platform they are hiring a Java Developer to focus on the integration/Data Engineering that connects these services together. Reporting into the Chief Data Officer, the successful Java Developer will work as part of a cross-functional team building the robust APIs and Data Pipelines that connect their suite of services. You will work heavily with AWS, various SQL/NoSQL data stores and caching solutions to deliver the real-time speed and stability that customers in the investment industry demand. What do we need from a Java Developer? Strong background in Java (8) Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs Experience working with SQL, ideally some knowledge of NoSQL Desire to learn more about Data at scale What will you get in return?
