PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP) - South West London A self-sufficient and proactive PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP) is needed to join a small team offering a complete range of web site development, hosting and design services to a wealth of great clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior / mid-weight PHP developer to develop their career within a talented team. Our client is a fun, forward thinking company based in a spacious, open plan offices at a fantastic location in Wandsworth Common - 5 minutes from Clapham Junction. Their hard-working and focussed employees work in a relaxed and informal atmosphere where they get to work together solving real-world problems for innovative clients most of which are in the wine industry. Due to their continuous success they are now seeking a PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP). Joining as a PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP) you will work on a variety of critical development projects utilising your expert skills. On a day-to-day basis expect diverse, varied and interesting work environment where you will scope web / database projects, develop features in line with specifications, troubleshoot any issues and ensure all work is delivered to the highest standards. Working with fellow IT professionals you will be able to grow your skills with them. To qualify… You should be a PHP Developer / SQL Developer / Software Developer / Web Developer / PHP Web Developer or similar with a CV that demonstrates: PHP including Object Oriented methods and MVC patterns; SQL skills; Good understanding of Responsive Frameworks and JS libraries; Experience of using a version control system e.g. SVN / Git; Troubleshooting and debugging skills; Integrating with RESTful APIs. Any of the following skills would be desirable: JQuery / UI, Linux / bash scripting, experience with AWS, experience with third party API's.
