You would be working alongside the Head of Actuarial Function, as the Strategic Project Actuary, helping to manage key acquisitions of pan European books of business. Key points Soll II / later IFRS17 etc Model development and implementation. You do not need to be a technical expert only focused on modelling, rather someone who is strong on the technical side and can implement the program across multiple cross-board markets. Strong communicator and confident dealing with C-suite Developing and managing teams Background Our client is an acquisition trail, planning on buying additional cross-board EU businesses, closing the local operations, and moving the book to Dublin. Business will be written from Dublin, under Central Bank of Ireland jurisdiction, but holding onto the EU base of customers. Key requirements FIA or Equivalent, qualified Strong technical ability across Soll II and Regulation Candidate needs to be able to get on well in small, flat structure functions, a technical actuary who can communicate well. Comfortable in a smaller business but being part of a wider global basis. Someone who has a desire for technical challenges Active in M&A or has an interest in it.
