The Opportunity An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join a busy team within our Wealth Management Practice, who are a highly successful Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc. St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of investment and retirement products and financial solutions to a high net worth client base. St. James’s Place Wealth Management has funds under management in excess of £100bn. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable firm who believe in employee development and offer genuine scope for progression. This can be on a full time or part time basis. The Role You will be working with the Partner in all aspects of office management including diary management, arranging appointments, client communications, preparing letters, presentations and reports, ordering stationery and assisting the Partner with marketing administration. Additionally, you will be preparing all documentation for the Partner meetings, and will need to ensure that client information is recorded accurately. You will be dealing with clients and third parties on a daily basis and you will be managing the pipeline of business through the Practice. You will have an initial period of training to learn new processes and skills which would provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice. The Person This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and has a flexible working style. You will have exceptional communication skills and be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have strong problem-solving skills, be a confident decision maker and able to work with little or no supervision. You will need to demonstrate previous office management, administrative or personal assistant experience and good IT skills. Since you will have regular contact with clients, it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion. It would be useful, but not essential, to have worked in a Financial Services or professional service environment or have a financial background.
