Overview
Maintenance Manager Ilminster Up to £54,000 Bonus 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Pension DAYS BASED ROLE Maintenance Manager required for a well renowned, market leading producer who supply to large retailers within the UK. This is an autonomous role with the scope to implement change and departmental improvements. You will work within a state of the art facility with growth and ongoing investment planned for the site. The role would suit current Engineering or Maintenance Managers/Engineering Supervisors/Team Managers who have had experience within an FMCG, production or manufacturing environment. Applicants must have proven experience of leading a team to success and implementing PPM schedules. The role will involve responsibility for a small engineering team who operate across 3 shifts. You will be responsible for working to and implementing stringent PPM schedules and asset care management of the machinery across the site. Due to ongoing investment, the successful candidate will lead major engineering projects and contribute to upgrades within the facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety and autonomy within their role with the scope to implement change and contribute to the success of the business moving forward. The company have recently invested £8m into the site, they are forward thinking and are moving towards a fully automated facility. The Role: People management, mentoring and support a small engineering team across 3 shifts Asset Care Management of all machinery on site Oversee that maintenance work is carried out to a high quality standard Development and control of a preventative maintenance programme. H&S will be a key part of this role The Person: Will ideally have previous engineering/maintenance manager experience Must have experience of successfully leading a team Will ideally transfer from a FMCG, manufacturing or production facility
