Overview

SJC are currently recruiting for a well-established business based in Salford looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities for this role include: Ensure all invoices received are logged accurately Organise all invoices, to be approved for payment by relevant department/managers, to be checked and verified in line with the business unit's authority level agreement Match invoices to GRNs and purchase orders using SMS or an offline data set to confirm price and quantity are correct Assist with the preparation of weekly payments runs, posting and allocation to the supplier accounts Assist with supplier reconciliations and help resolve invoice queries (internal and external) promptly to ensure invoices are paid in accordance with the agreed terms Experience in a similar purchase ledger role is essential.
