Structural Engineer - Permanent - Coventry Your new company Hays currently have the pleasure of recruiting on behalf of a nationwide structural engineering practice for a Senior Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. This practice holds over 47 years' experience within the industry and would suit a Senior Structural Engineer that is looking to work on challenging projects that are recognised on a national scale. Your new role As part of your new role as a Senior Structural Engineer you play a key part in the responsibility of working directly for the Associate director where you will be working under your own initiative managing your own projects from concept to completion. As the Senior Structural Engineer, you will be expected to liaise with fellow colleagues and be comfortable working on your own producing design packages. Finally, as a Senior Structural Engineer you will have the responsibility of acting as a mentor to junior members of the team in assisting them and the growth of the business. What you'll need to succeed As the successful Senior Structural Engineer, you will ideally be a chartered structural engineer or be looking to complete your Chartership shortly. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be fully proficient within AutoCAD with clear experience of performing hand drawings to a high standard within live projects. Finally, as the successful Senior Structural Engineer you will be confident within the Microsoft Office package and have a key understanding of design analysis programs.
