Your new company Your new company is a family run residential developer based in South West London. The business has an excellent track record of managing high end residential new build projects across West and South West London. The business benefits from strong financial backing from a global investor which enables them to develop £multi-million builds in prime locations. Your new role Embarking on their biggest project to date, a £250m mixed use scheme in South West London, the company is looking for professional quantity surveyor to join the team and provide essential contract management and cost management services throughout their current development as well as future builds. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience working for, or alongside housing associations, as you will require knowledge on building regulations specific to affordable housing. Similarly you will need experience managing major new build projects, specifically residential blocks. You will need to be a strong communicator as you will be liaising with consultants, contractors and stakeholders from a range of backgrounds, chairing progress meetings throughout projects. You will also be a team player, working in unison with a dedicated in house team to ensure the smooth running of projects. You will take a hands on approach to your work and take responsibility for your own workload, this is a compact team which requires everyone to take ownership. You will need to be locally based, and ideally a driver as sites will be located throughout West and South West London. What you'll get in return In return for your work you will receive an annual salary of £70-75K and will be eligible for a discretionary bonus (up to £30K) relating to performance and project completion. The business operates a flexible working model, and can accommodate later starts or earlier finishes where possible. you will receive 25 days of annual leave per annum with bank holidays in addition, and will be set up with a company pension automatically.
