You will love this role if you: Want to be part of an exciting, team where you can really develop and define the role Are passionate about gaining experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and working on research that brings benefits to patients Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic and client focused consultancy environment Want to work across a broad range of therapeutic areas You will be a success if you: Have experience in this sector Can make this technology do amazing things Have achieved a certain kind of success in the past Have certain personal attributes/skills/experience Have a certain level of (necessary) qualification As part of the OPEN VIE team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities: Working with our Patient Centred Outcomes Team, you will: Work closely with the Patient Centred Outcomes consultants to ensure the goals of the projects are met Support the design and development of qualitative and quantitative outcome research studies Develop search criteria and perform literature reviews Assist in the conduct of both qualitative and quantitative research including: Direct patient/healthcare professional interviews and focus groups Patient preference studies Patient surveys Selection or development and validation of patient-reported outcome instruments Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative research data Contribute to the drafting of project reports and other deliverables of research Additional Responsibilities Contribute to the continuing achievements and targets of Open VIE through the successful delivery of project documentation to agreed standards and timelines Maintain thorough working records of all project activities Attend regular internal team meetings to facilitate a collaborative approach to all projects Maintain quality and accuracy in all activities, following Open VIE Standard Operating Procedures What you’ll bring: Required experience and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Psychology, Sociology or related discipline Experience of conducting health research and project management Experience of qualitative and/or quantitative research or related technical skills An understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and drug development process will be an advantage as will previous experience in a health care consultancy environment Essential skills: Previous experience in conducting research and collecting data Excellent computer skills and communication skills Used to working independently and have excellent organisation skills Positive, solution focused What we offer: At OPEN Health, we are entirely dependent upon our people.
