Pastoral/Safeguarding Officer required for schools in Coventry with Hays Your new company Hays are the market leading recruitment agency in the UK&I, and we pride ourselves on experience in matching people to the right role for them to excel. We work alongside several schools across Coventry, that offer Pastoral/Safeguarding Officer roles in Primary and Secondary Schools, on a full or part-time basis. Your new role This role will be offered on a full or part-time basis, working Monday to Friday and you will have the benefit of receiving school holidays off. You will work alongside the Safeguarding Lead to provide support to other members of staff to safeguard the school and promote students' welfare. You will also liaise with external services to offer guidance, advice and support on any safeguarding issues and provide mentoring to any high profile vulnerable students. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience working as a Pastoral/Safeguarding Officer in an education setting. You will be a highly competent and professional individual to be well equipped to support staff and the students' welfare. Good communication skills are key, and you must be self-motivated with optimistic approach to ensure you are giving the best service possible within your role.
