HVDC Service Engineer

Are you an experienced industrial electrician/electrical service engineer with experience of HV power systems / substations? Do you live within a commutable distance of Lee-on-the-Solent or are you willing to relocate? Are you happy to work in a full time position with a globally recognised engineering brand? If the answers are yes, our client are looking to start you in a full-time position once the lock down is over Essential Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in HV power systems / substation (>200kV) work. Full UK driving licence Located within 60 minute drive of Lee-On-the-Solent Experience in delivering technical reports and fault analysis. Maintain Maintenance Management System, complete all customer fault reports & commissioning documentation where required in a timely manner Formal Electrical qualifications Package: Starting salary of £30-40k Car allowance (Cash for car) 10% annual bonus Matched pension up to 10% The Role: Reporting to the Service Manager you will be based between our clients Stone (Staffordshire) offices, the Lee-On-The-Solent HVDC converter station and various sites, including our client's customer sites throughout the UK. Duties will include commissioning/support new and existing projects and 1st & 2nd line support. . This 1st & 2nd line support will require 24/7 on-call with fast response time to site. Flexible working hours will also be required for significant maintenance tasks and on an impromptu basis as required.
