Estates Operations Manager

Morgan hunt are seeking an Estates Operations Officer to work within a leading NHS trust, located in Salisbury. The duties of the Estates Operations Officer will be the following: Will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance is carried out for the Trust Responsible for monitoring the operations and effectiveness of maintenance carried out Monitoring the specialist maintenance contract staff Responsible for providing judgement and decisions over a wide range of operational estates technical issues. Will be acting as the authorised person, with appropriate training, in the following; Piped Medical Gas, Washer Disinfectors, and Electrical Services Will be the nominated person, with appropriate training, in the following; Sterilisers, Abestos, and Water Safety Skills and Qualifications: Educated to degree level Extensive post qualification experience / specialist knowledge of building structures / engineering services In-depth understanding of Hospital policies and procedures and operational activities Specialist knowledge of and training in hospital building and engineering Excellent communication skills Building or engineering structures / services background approved post graduate or student experience Significant senior management experience gained in hospital environment Hold a full UK driving licence Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Pay: £27PH LTD Duration: 6 months on-going Morgan Hunt is a multi award winning Employment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
