Senior Enterprise Risk Manager

What you’ll be doing The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager will be responsible for effective implementation, maintenance and oversight of the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the Cabot Credit Management Group. They will manage the ERM Team and support and oversee the business risk assessment process including testing, monitoring and measuring risks, helping to ensure that the Group is effectively managing and controlling risk across the business areas. Some of the key responsibilities include: Embed and oversee the effective execution of the ERM framework throughout the UK and European Business Units on a continuous improvement basis. Working closely and collaboratively with Encore Capital 2nd Line (parent group) and all Three Lines of Defence in Cabot on Risk related matters. Acting as a partner to the business to educate and support on the identification, assessment and mitigation of risks pertinent to those areas Define and create KRIs for a wider range of business areas and support the definition of Risk Appetite and reporting. Oversee and drive the Risk Event Management process (External and Internal), supporting impact assessment, recommending potential solutions and driving closure. Driving production of Board Risk Management Information Analyse Management Information to identify potential risks areas, plan and lead enterprise risk reviews. Ensure that Enterprise Risk Management policies and procedures are kept up to date and that the key processes within the team continue to be embedded throughout the business. Line Manager to the Enterprise Risk Team What we need from you We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager who has worked in an FCA regulated environment. You will be degree educated or have a risk related qualification, have strong influencing and collaboration skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to thrive in a busy, fast paced environment where priorities are constantly changing. People management experience is key as you will be managing a team, as is credit, operational and conduct risk expertise, and a good working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
