Overview

My client are embarking on a strategic renewal programme that will involve a gradual and complete overhaul of their core pricing and trading systems. They currently have a tech stack comprising of various vendor products and in-house built Java components. Over the next months they are looking to completely replace these 3rd party products with Java based components. You will initially assist with the maintenance with the Streambase components but also participate in the decommissioning project which is based on core Java development with low latency messaging, in the areas of FX pricing, trading and risk and liquidity management. The role will entail low latency multi-threaded development of real-time messaging systems using protocols like FIX and Tibco RV. Requirements: TIBCO Streambase Core Java 8 Messaging (e.g. TIBCO) Desirable: Background from Tier 1 bank/hedge fund/financial companies
