Overview
Production Manager Hadleigh, Essex Monday to Friday 6.30 to 15.30. £35,237 per annum Management Bonus Company Pension Private Healthcare Share save Scheme 22 Days Holiday rising to 25 days with service. Production Manager required for a well established production facility. This is a great opportunity to join a successful senior management team in company with a great reputation in their industry. The successful candidate will be an experienced production manager from ANY fast paced manufacturing/ production environments. You will have experience of managing large teams of operatives and of being responsible for departmental HR. Experience in lean manufacturing techniques would be of an advantage along with managing improvement projects Your role will be to manage a team of circa 45 operatives including 2 section leaders. You will be responsible for all HR issues in the production department including hiring, budgets and scheduling shifts. You will have experience of working with Excel/ Microsoft systems and will ensure the production department meets its KPIs. You will be a member of the senior management team and work to improve operations across site. The company are a well established production facility with sites all across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a successful management team with a very low staff turnover, over 50% of staff have been with the company over 10 years. The Role: Complete control over production department. Ensuring client requirements are met through KPI management. Managing a team of circa 45 operatives and 2 team leaders. Responsible for all HR issues. Working to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Using AS400 ERP system. The Production Manager: Experience in ANY production/ manufacturing environment. Experience managing a large team of operatives. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/ ERP systems. Experience in lean manufacturing techniques highly advantageous.
