Job Title: Temporary Support Worker Location: Lindford Pay : £9.01 per hour We are Voyage Care and the sector leading provider, with over 30 years' experience of specialist care and support. We are looking for a real-life superhero 'Support Worker' to join our existing team of outstanding employees who share our values and our passion to provide the highest quality support. We can offer flexibility with hours on either temporary or a permanent basis, with a variety of roles and contracts. No previous care experience is necessary, you simply need to be kind, caring, compassionate and patient Role Overview:- As a Support worker at Cordwainers you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities. About the Role: As a Support Worker at Cordwainers you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities and physical disabilities. You would be encouraging their independence and supporting them to lead as fulfilling life as possible. Whilst no two days are the same typically, you'll help our residents with the everyday challenges of washing, dressing and eating. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.
