Job Summary Job Title: Support Worker Location: Ashford Lodge – Canterbury, CT4 8DU Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £8.80 Information: This role is shift work. As a Support Worker you could be supporting individuals with swimming, assisting with the weekly shop, or even helping to administer the right medication. Ashford Lodge support adults aged 18 with autism spectrum conditions, moderate and severe learning disabilities and complex needs including behaviours that may challenge. Every aspect of a person’s life is seen as a potential learning opportunity, and people will be supported to take part in meaningful activities that enrich their lives and maximise independence. You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you. You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
