We are assisting a leading local manufacturing company with their current search for a Purchasing Assistant. Scunthorpe Permanent position Salary £18-20K p.a. Role will include: Assisting the Purchasing Manager with day to day duties Placing orders for a wide variety of raw materials. Expediting orders to ensure delivery schedules maintained Sourcing alternatives suppliers Associated purchasing administration tasks Knowledge of export/import documentation Internal communication with production/warehousing/stock control Experience within a fast paced purchasing environment required.
