PROJECT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY A MARKET LEADING global financial services client based in Manchester require an accomplished Project Manager to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement. Our client has served UK customers for over 50 years with their financial needs. Their services include asset servicing, asset management, private equity and hedge fund administration, broker-dealer services, depositary receipts, corporate trust and treasury services. For this opportunity you will be an Ajilon employee working on site with the client while being rewarded with a strong salary, holidays, pension, certification opportunities and more Job Title: Project Manager Duration: Ajilon Consultant (See below) Location: Manchester Start: ASAP Salary: £Strong PAYE salary plus extensive benefits (as below) The Role: As a PMO Lead Analyst you will provide governance, support and control across the change portfolio. You will provide project and programme team members with guidance on project processes and support the project team members with any queries associated with those processes. At the same time, you will provide oversight and control of the projects, working with the PM and challenging them to make sure projects conform to standards and helping to identify potential risks and issues that might impact the delivery. Main responsibilities: Working with Project Managers to review / monitor project health and ensuring all projects adhere to the quality process guidelines. Prepare, analyse and produce enterprise wide reports and dashboards to the senior management team of key information Maintaining and enhancing metrics that measure project performance. Conducting project status review meetings and tracking of the open points and assigned task's status. Conducting periodic project audits, determining the project health by measuring the variance in scope, schedule, cost and quality from the respective baselines. Skills and Experience: Experience delivering large projects or programmes of work or working as a PMO lead in a similar organisation. Experience preparing, analyse and produce enterprise wide reports and dashboards to the senior management team of key information. Pro-active can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and influence people Working experience and solid of knowledge of various SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative and agile) Attention to detail, checking and challenging information provided.
