Overview
I am currently working with a client based in Brighton on their search for a Supply Chain Controller. They are looking for a Supply Chain Controller who has strong vendor management skills and can work well in a busy environment, whilst working to strict deadlines. Day to Day Responsibilities: • Building and managing existing relationships with the supplier base. • You will be managing a global supply chain. • Ensuring that the scheduled orders are delivered on time. • Developing a template to support regular Supplier Business Reviews. • Communicate any supply or supplier risks. • Producing recovery plans. • Working with vendors to solve invoicing issues. • Reducing inventory costs by analysing supplier performance and risk. • Visiting suppliers to carry out reviews and audits. • Arranging Logistics for orders requiring collection. • Assisting with the expediting of New Product/Prototype parts. Skills and Experience: • Experience within the Automotive or Mechanical industry. • ERP/MRP systems - Epicor, SAP or similar. • Able to work to strict deadlines. • Advanced MS Excel user. • Able to self-manage and deliver on time. • Strong relationship building skills. • Strong communication skills both written and verbal Desired Skills and experience: Experience in import and export control.
