Then this Principal Platform Engineer role could be the perfect match for you We are working with a market-leading retail company, that has been delivering excellent year-on-year growth, driven by their best-in-class eCommerce platform . Having undergone a huge digital transformation, they recently went live with an application built in TypeScript (Node/React), which is hosted on AWS . They committed to using a serverless architecture and have the largest implementation of AWS Lambda expressions in Europe. They are now looking for a Principal Platform Engineer who will be responsible for technically leading the Platform Engineering team, ensuring that they can deliver highly reliable products at scale. Working as part of a modern, Agile cross-functional team, you will work closely with the Engineers on a variety of projects - mainly cool new features that deliver value to our customer experience. You will need to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that will ensure they can meet expected performance and reliability standards. Automation is key to the role and they use Terraform to automate their IaC . You will also need to be comfortable building applications and tools used for automation. They use Python but don't mind which OO language you've used in the past.
