Overview

A Financial Planning practice based in Haywards Heath has an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner to join their team. Reporting to the Paraplanning Manager, the successful candidate will work alongside and collaboratively with a team of fellow Paraplanners and Administrators, to support the Advisers and ultimately providing the client with a professional and positive experience. Main Duties Identify and gather any outstanding relevant quantitative information required to compile a financial report Liaise with product providers and other relevant third parties over the phone and via email to complete full investigations and product breakdown to support recommendations and to enable decision-making Organise and update relevant data using in-house database system Assist with the accurate completion of application and proposal forms both online and offline Check all compliance paperwork is present on submission of reports. Discuss and establish client objectives with the Financial Advisers Support the Financial Advisers in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives, including the analysis of Client data and preparing cash flow analyses Complete strategy documents, suitability letters and reports Provide technical support and qualified knowledge to Financial Advisers, Personal Assistants and the Administration team as well as other members of staff where required Requirements At least three years’ relevant experience within a financial services role, ideally in a financial planning practice environment Qualified to Diploma Level within CII Experience with estate planning, including working with trusts and ideally with DB transfers Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written. Confident and self-assured with a positive approach to change, ability to remain calm and work well under pressure. Detailed and accurate in every aspect of the role. Excellent report writing, problem solving and decision-making skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/IT skills.
