Digital & Web Services Manager - Swadlincote - £35,000-£39,000 INTERVIEWING NOW Are you a Digital Manager or Web Services Manager looking to secure a new role? Then look no further JOB SUMMARY Lead the technical implementation of a new Digital Platform across the Council, encompassing; website, CRM system, resident self-service, SharePoint Intranet, electronic communication systems, online payment systems, asset management system, booking system, GIS, cloud-based business systems, document management and operational workflow and scheduling services. Manage, support and promote the development of electronic access channels across the organisation to make it easier for customers to access its services, enabling choice and flexibility to any party consuming Council services. Develop and design technology led solutions to support on-going continuous improvements to our customer interactions, working collaboratively with services to develop end to end process solutions by understanding user requirements, envisioning and designing features and functionality Work on developing web systems and digital services to meet emerging business needs, integrating existing systems to support business processes and encourage a 'one version of the truth' approach to data and information across the organisation. Requisite Skills and Experience: Track record of delivering public facing digital services in a large, complex organisation with expert technical /professional knowledge and experience Track record of shaping and evolving ambitious digital strategies Experience with data manipulation and an understanding of industry standard programming languages such as SQL, HTML, etc. Excellent research, analysis, interpretation and evaluation skills, demonstrating the ability to identify and diagnose complex problems/issues / requirements and develop innovative strategic solutions Authority and credibility to build relationships, influence and engage successfully with politicians, senior managers, colleagues and partners in complex or politically sensitive situations Understanding and experience of working with common digital platforms platforms used to deliver public-facing digital services, ideally including specific experience of core market leaders such as salesforce, Firmstep, Gandlake, Jadu, SharePoint Experience of influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders to deliver digital products which fit customer and organisational needs Experience of leading and motivating a digital team and matrix management across an organisation Experience of sourcing and managing digital suppliers and other contractors in a commercial relationship Does this sound like the role for you?
