Overview
Successful online retailer based in Norwich is looking to appoint a forward thinking Group Management Accountant. This is reporting into the Financial Controller and will assist with the management of the financial resources of this expanding group of companies. You will be responsible for the ongoing analysis of project costing, margin analysis and tracing costs & benefits in order to report accurately on the profitability of the Group. Other main duties include preparation of monthly management accounts, make recommendations for performance improvement, preparation of year end financial packs to audit standard, assist with annual budgeting process and rolling quarterly forecasts. Implementation of departmental budgets (including overhead departments) and reporting on actuals and variances, management of project costing system and management and development of the finance team. You will preferably be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, have a track record as Finance Manager/Management Accountant, strong system skills, excellent communication skills ideally including at senior management level. You will be comfortable working in both an office and operational environment, have the ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues and be a forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
