Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be working with an independent practice in the Rochester area. Our client has been established for 10 years and has a very low turnover of staff. Our client is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant. The role involves the following responsibilities: Start to finish Company and Sole Trader accounts. VAT returns. Personal and Corporation Tax returns. Bookkeeping. Monthy Payroll. Portfolio management of circa 30 clients including: on boarding, holding regular meetings and keeping in contact via telephone/email. The ideal candidate profile will be similar to the following: AAT/Qualified by Experience or PQ/qualified ACCA. Experienced user of Xero and QuickBooks software. 3 years experience of working for an accountancy practice. Team player and ability to self-motivate. What's on offer: £25,000 - £30,000. 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). Auto-enrolment pension scheme. Quarterly team socials. Study support for ACCA/AAT Flexible working hours, could be 4 days a week
