Junior Games Developer

A Junior Games Developer is required by our International Tech client near Manchester to develop and support a wide variety of tools within a talented development team. The Games Developer will offer strong C# programming skills and knowledge of WPF and MVVM architecture. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter with experience of Game Engines such as Unity, Cry Engine or Lumberyard. The successful applicant will have a passion for creating a great UX and you will work closely with users to define their needs and requirements. As Games Developer you will design, create, document, maintain, and improve game development tools for all disciplines as well as provide ongoing support. The Games Developer will work to continuously to improve user experience, capabilities and performance as well as investigate functionality and quality in order to propose the use of third-party tools, libraries and frameworks. Required skills: - Good C# knowledge preferably in a Games development environment. - Knowledge of Game Engines such as Cry, Lumberyard or Unity - Strong programming and maths background - Excellent problem solving and code optimization skills Applicants must submit a portfolio or examples of their work and coding capabilities The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and problem solving and comfortable working across and number of large scale and small projects across multiple studios and time zones.
