Position Type: Full Time Department: Onboard Solutions Job Location: Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 4RZ Salary: £25,000 – 35,000 Date Posted: March 2, 2020 Date Posting Closes: April 3, 2020 Job Summary: The Senior AIM Data Analyst has deep knowledge of Aeronautical Information publications and is expected to be familiar with and fully competent in the use of all tools and procedures involved in managing and processing all Aeronautical Information to the required specification on time and in full. This individual has good understanding of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Procedure for Air Navigation Services relating to AIS and AIM. Responsibilities: · Manages aeronautical information source subscriptions based on Internal customer requirements. · Manages source information for specific area of responsibility as identified by the Team Leader. · Analyses and processes aeronautical information (NOTAMS, AIP Amendments/Supplements, AIC’s) using document management tool. · Maintains the E-Library documentation and ensures all relevant administrative records are updated and current. · Identifies and records all discrepancies with documentation as per Instructions Communicates the discrepancies to the affected teams internally and raises clarification requests with state authorities. · Carries out quality checks on documents stored in AIM E-Library. · Enhances collaboration with State authorities by building relationships and maintaining good communication. · Respond efficiently and effectively with all day-to-day enquiries from external and internal customers. · Ensure workload is planned and prioritised to achieve pre-determined deadlines. · Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to at all times. Notify the relevant personnel of any non-conformances. · Completes root cause analysis and supports process enhancements. · Supports the review and maintenance of AIM quality documentation. · Understanding of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Procedure for Air Navigation Services relating to AIS and AIM. · Ensure good housekeeping and that Health & Safety is maintained at all times. · Participate in ad hoc projects or duties as assigned by the AIM Team Leader. · Supports AIM Team Leader with internal and external audit preparations. · Support continues improvement; contributes and participates in continues improvement projects were feasible. · Support training activities as identified by Team Leader. Required Skills/Experience: · Prior experience with analyzing and assessing Aeronautical information publication data is required · Experience or interest in the aviation industry a definite asset. · Good knowledge of Aeronautical Information Publication and supporting documentation. · Good knowledge of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Procedure for Air Navigation Services relating to AIS and AIM. · Computer Data entry skills; capable of using standard features of Microsoft Office suite and most common web browsers. · Basic knowledge of geography, cartography or air navigation is desirable · Proven ability to produce high standard of work required for safety critical data. · Ability to work to strict deadlines. · Collaborates effectively in a team environment · Capable of working independently under minimal supervision · Attention to detail & quality minded · Experience or interest in the aviation industry a definite asset. · Effective interpersonal skills; adaptable to all levels of the organisation. · Strong time management, planning and organisational skills. · Able to effectively prioritize job tasks and workload to meet the needs of NAVBLUE and its customers · Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal). Qualifications: · Educated to ‘GCSE’ level or equivalent. · IT Literate.
