Vacancy - M&E Compliance Manager Location - Beaconsfield Salary - Up to £48,000 Company details: My Client is one of the South East’s leading housing providers. About the Role: Clients: Property Services, Operations, Asset Management, Technical Team, External Contractors and Service providers, Procurement, Health and Safety Management of all property M&E compliance service contracts across all assets. Deputise the Head of Compliance in their absence and provide direction support and guidance to the Contract Support Coordinators to deliver statutory checks on servicing, and repairs related to lifting equipment, water, asbestos and M&E compliance contracts. Management of external specialist compliance contracts to ensure high quality delivery of works that are statutory and regulatory compliant. Effective control monitoring and review including mitigation of contract risk in regards compliance, service and financial delivery. Duties Regularly meet with, monitor and manage specialist contracts to ensure they deliver a high standard in line with the agreed terms and conditions of the contract taking action where necessary. Manage the Contract Support Coordinators ensuring they work in line with required timeframes and keeping up date to date with legal requirements. Conduct regular one to ones, and annual appraisals providing line manager support in development and training. Provide an engineering service to design plan and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations. Work alongside Procurement to identify, plan and deliver new Property Service services contract. Drive continuous improvement efficiencies relating to compliance with demonstrable value for money. Provide technical expertise in relation to lift services, water monitoring, sprinklers, water booster pumps, asbestos management, door entry, Mechanical heat and ventilation, renewable energy, man safe etc. Lead in creation and delivery of mobilisation plans for new specialist contracts compliant with Paradigm’s standing orders and procedures. Strategically drive performance and efficiency across Paradigm’s suppliers producing a cost effective service and demonstrable value for money. Plan and manage budgets at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of all existing and proposed property contracts. Work in collaboration with Repairs Managers and other Property Service Team colleagues offering technically sound solutions and support. Contribute to any relevant audits/reviews related to property compliance, financial regulation or contract management. Ensure financial regulations and processes for the issuing and approval of works are adhered to at all times. Providing repots to Head of Compliance & Executive Director of PS. Salary The salary for this position is £48,090 per annum according to skills and experience. Payment of salary: Salary is paid monthly on the fifteenth working day of the month by direct credit into a bank or building society account. Location: This post will be based at Glory Park, Wooburn Green however you may be required to work at any other premises which the group currently has or may later acquire within 25 miles of this. Probationary period: This appointment will be subject to a probationary period of six months, during which time the post holder will be expected to establish his/her suitability for the post. Hours of work: These are 37 per week to be worked Monday to Friday. Flexible working arrangements: We support flexible working arrangements that meet business needs and those of our staff. Holiday entitlement: The holiday entitlement for this post is 25 days a year, rising to 27 days after two years’ service. Rising on an incremental basis to a maximum of 30 days after ten years’ service. The company also offers an additional fixed three days annual leave in between Christmas and New Year.
