Overview
We are currently working with various London designers who are looking for freelance Sample Machinists to join them for ongoing and ad hoc bookings. This is a great opportunity for experienced Sample Machinist's to work with some of the cities leading brands. About the role… The ideal candidate will have experience working within a luxury environment, creating samples, VIP garments and show collection pieces, whilst working closely with the Pattern Cutters and Workroom Manager to ensure the highest standards are met Completing all pieces with high finishing techniques and skills Resolving any issues with the make-up of garments Achieve finished garments made and to the highest quality Working to deadline to ensure the garments are ready on time. About you… Essential to have previous experience within the luxury industry Perfect candidate will ideally have experience of working with a variety of fabrics Be willing to work hard to fulfill the companies needs You will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal Please note that due to the high volume of candidates only suitable candidates will be responded to.
