Signalling Construction Manager 6 Month Contract – to start immediately £Neg day rate depending on experience Based in South Wales Our client is a Tier one, well established Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. They are looking for a Construction Manager to join a team on a major re-signalling project in South Wales. You will need: Previous experience as a Construction Manager within the rail industry is essential Multi-disciplined background with a Signalling bias. Strong Rail background with a PTS Possess technical Signalling knowledge Proven ability to lead teams and manage Strong stakeholder management experience Knowledge of company policy and procedures including safety and environment related issuesThe Role: The Role: Overall management of project teams during the construction and installation phase of the project. Co-ordination and allocation of construction staff to projects ensuring that appropriate construction and installation staff are appointed to individual projects: based on experience, skills and knowledge. Liaises with the Project Managers to ensure that the construction resource pool is an appropriate size, with an appropriate blend of skill-sets for the projected workload.
