Contracts Manager, Darlington, up to £30,000 Your new company A well established, market leading company in Darlington has a brand new role as a Contracts Manager. Your new role This position has been created due to a company re-structure and based at their Head Office in Darlington, you will be ensuring they are getting the most out of their supplier relationships and importantly value for money from their contractual agreements. Working closely with a number of functions across the business your job role will involve: Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for all contractual matters Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation Monitoring and completing contract close-out, extensions or renewals as appropriate Seeking out new suppliers that may benefit and enhance the business and brand Meeting suppliers for reviews as well as new business meetings Working with prospective and existing landlords as well as solicitors for new site activity Managing/Supporting all aspects of site builds from tenders to contractor agreements What you'll need to succeed My client is looking for an experienced 'negotiator' who has the ability to drive a 'hard bargain' and successfully negotiate the best business deal. You must have worked within a role where you have managed suppliers and contracts previously. An individual who has worked in a role where they have handled site builds or projects would be of particular interest. A passionate and pro-active Manager who is excellent inter-personally and will embrace this new role to make it their own.
