Overview
Building Labourer / Maintenance Handyman / Technician. We are looking to recruit a building maintenance Labourer / handyman to work on a large site based in and around Heathrow Airport as a static engineer. This is a permanent Nights position - 4 nights a week - Working 40 hours Monday to Thursday - there will be an opportunity for overtime. You would meet at the companies head office on site at Petersfield and drive to the BAA site with the fully skilled maintenance engineer. Start time - 5 -6.00pm and finish time 4-5.00am. The team currently has a permanent M&E maintenance labourer opportunity, and they are looking to strengthen the team with handyman / building maintenance / fabric technician. We are looking for a person that has experience of assisting with all aspects of daily maintenance around the M & E site. The typical issues that you will be expected to look after can be anything from general painting and fabric issues around the site, and general maintenance of equipment around the site and then helping the electrical / Mechanical maintenance engineers when needed. The role is a full time permanent position working within and around all the parts of the terminals including all the recently newly built building. We are ideally looking for some one who has worked nights and has ideally worked at the Airport, but we are really looking for a person with the right personality and attitude. You will be required to be able to obtain an Air side pass. If you already have one then this will be a real advantage, but this isn't essentail.
