Overview
Casualty Claims Adjuster London We are seeking a US / International Casualty Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client - an established, medium sized and growing Lloyd's syndicate, who have a first class reputation as a company, an employer, and for their claims service. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of claims across a range of different classes of business, but with a focus on Casualty (PI, D&O, Med Mal, GL, Cyber, FI) and Reinsurance. If you come from a UK or non US/International Lloyd's claims background, this is a great opportunity to gain US claims experience. We are also considering Senior Claims Adjusters for the position. Responsibilities Actively handling claims, predominantly Casualty and Reinsurance. Building and maintaining relationships with key Brokers & Stakeholders. Promoting compliance with best practice for all aspects of claims management. Assisting Underwriters in renewal meetings as required. Providing feedback to Underwriters from a Claims perspective. Participating in client visits and audits as required, as well as representing the company at market meetings and on market committees. Requirements Experience in a similar role, Casualty insurance or Reinsurance experience is essential. Working towards (or willingness to work towards) ACII qualification or similar. Knowledge of ECF/IMR and core business systems - Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge of coverage and (re)insurance structures. A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
