Overview
TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school based in Southwark that is recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join them on a long term basis as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be teaching Geography to KS5 students. You will be required to plan, deliver and mark all lessons on your timetable whilst also implementing the schools ethos. As this schools new Geography Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to; You will be required to teach the national curriculum to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students and ensure they are improving on their current grades As the new Geography Teacher you will be communicating on a regular basis with parents and carers on their children's progress within your classes You must document students' progress within the Humanities department throughout the academic year You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities The successful Geography Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have a Geography related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS.
