Overview
School Caretaker - Hertfordshire - September 2020 An outstanding secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking to appoint an experienced School Caretaker for after September 2020. Duties include caretaking of the school as directed by the Premises Manger. The school has invested and continues to invest in ensuring its site and facilities are of the highest quality for learning and the high level of use by the community, providing a safe and secure environment for students, staff and all our users and providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the school grounds and building, minor maintenance repairs such as, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting/Glazing, Cleaning and Health and Safety. You will be reporting to a Premises Manger. Requirements for the Role of a School Caretaker You will: - Be able to work as part of the Facilities Management Team - Be calm and supportive, positively assertive and have a flexible approach to your - work - Be organised and be prepared to work outdoors - Have the drive and energy to make a positive impact on the site and its development - Have a good command of spoken and written English Please apply now
