Overview

A leading international, full service law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced intranet and knowledge systems officer to join the Liverpool city centre office. Previous global intranet experience is advantageous, as is an interest in technology and content management. You will be reporting to the Knowledge and UK Systems Manager; this is a collaborative role working across teams in the business. You must have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, be a critical thinker who will assess the impact of requests using a structured approach to information presentations and good influencing skills, along with the ability to assess ideas and requests and provide solutions in a standardised approach. Previous experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 would be advantageous and you must come from either a legal or professional services background. The firm will provide full training and financially support training courses relating to SharePoint. The firm is based in Liverpool and has a fantastic reputation within the legal industry. As an intranet and knowledge systems officer, your duties will include: Intranet - supporting the day to day administration of the intranet including the creation of new intranet pages as well as management of existing content - providing guidance to stakeholders regarding content, classification and submission of documentation onto the site - providing occasional training and support to intranet editors both in the UK and globally - troubleshooting and obtaining appropriate technical support as required from IT and/or external support company - working with the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Manager to develop, test and release elements of the firm's intranet site - raising any queries with the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Manager Other responsibilities: - managing the data quality of the firm's people directory ensuring memberships of key business groups for the UK and globally are maintained - building close working relationships with members of the firm's IT and other Business Services Teams - ensuring knowledge content adheres to the firm's copyright policy - working with The Knowledge and Business Intelligence Centre colleagues to organise and deliver training days for annual trainee intake - acting as the deputise for the Intranet and Knowledge Systems manager during their absence - working on projects as required by Head of Department
